Terms of Use
The short version: this website is information, not care. Reading it, downloading a worksheet, or sending an inquiry does not make you a client, and nothing here is medical or legal advice. What the site does with your information is covered separately, in the Privacy Policy. The longer version follows.
If you are in crisis
Holliday Approach is an outpatient practice, not a crisis service, and this website is not monitored around the clock. Sending an inquiry here is never the right move in an emergency. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line), or call 911.
Reading this site is not therapy
A therapist-client relationship begins when we’ve spoken, agreed to work together, and you’ve signed the intake paperwork through the client portal. Until then, nothing on this site, including contacting me through the forms, creates a clinical relationship or a duty of care. What you read on this site describes patterns in general terms. None of it is an assessment of you, and none of it can account for your specific situation. If something you read here raises a question about your own health, that question deserves a clinician who can actually see you, whether that’s me or someone else.
Coaching is not therapy
Therapy through this practice is available by telehealth to people located in Michigan and Ohio. Coaching is available anywhere. Coaching is goal-focused work, not clinical care: it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything, and it is not a substitute for mental health treatment. The coaching agreement you’d sign before we start spells out that boundary in detail.
Worksheets and written content
Everything on this site, including the worksheets and page copy, belongs to Holliday Approach LLC. You’re welcome to download the worksheets for your own use and to share links to any page. Please don’t republish, rehost, or sell the materials, or fold them into a paid program, without written permission. If you’re a clinician who wants to use a worksheet with clients, ask through the contact form. The likely answer is yes.
Links to other sites
Where this site links out (crisis lines, professional organizations, government guidance), it’s because the resource is useful, not because I control or endorse everything on the other end. Rules and guidance change; verify anything that matters to your situation at the source.
Accessibility
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA: readable contrast, full keyboard paths, reduced-motion support, and screen-reader-tested structure. If any part of it doesn’t work with your screen reader, keyboard, or anything else you use, tell me through the contact form and I’ll fix what I can.
The unavoidable legal paragraph
This website is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and may contain errors or content that has gone out of date. To the extent the law allows, Holliday Approach LLC is not liable for damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. These terms are governed by Michigan law. If you keep using the site after the terms change, the current version applies; the effective date at the top tells you when that was.
